He narrowed his gaze at me. “You want me to lower the price and give you a job?” He chuckled, and the act of smiling did wonders for his face. He looked pleasant and less like the asshole he really was. “Oh, honey. That’s a tall order.”

I rolled my eyes. “I spent a semester in Paris learning to bake with one of the best pastry chefs in the world. I can handle some fucking chicken fingers.”

Ashton was one of those guys you had to push back or he’d trample all over you.

He crossed his arms, the shirt straining to accommodate his muscles, giving me another peek of that scar. “Six-fifty a month and you got the job.”

I gasped. “What? How do you figure that one?”

Did he just raise the price?

He grinned. “Because if I have to work with you all day, I need a little more cash for my pain and suffering.”

MORE ABOUT PERFECT MATCH

Millie Byers

Widowed at twenty-six.
When I fell in love with Colin Byers at sixteen, I never expected that I’d lose him the day after we finally got married. The love of my life; my soulmate; stolen from me by a quirk of fate. After this my life spirals out of control, leaving me broke, alone, and losing the only thing I had left: my cupcake shop.
Looks like it’s time for an early midlife crisis.
This plan is derailed when I’m hit by a brilliant idea on the one-year anniversary of his death.

My husband was an organ donor.

Someone got his heart.
If I can track this person down, I might finally find the closure I need. I mean it’s not really stalking if you only intend to say hi and then leave, right? But nothing about Ashton Knight is as I expected.
The guy who got my Colin’s heart is a foul-mouthed smoker who drinks. A jerk with no compassion… and now I have a new mission. Fix him so he becomes the man who deserves the heart in his chest. Truth be told, though, as much as I love a good project, this one might just ruin me.

Ashton Knight

I’m living through the worst year of my life.
After losing Jenna in a car crash and almost dying myself, I woke up with a new heart, and each beat is a constant reminder that I’m alive while she’s not. Just when I’m ready to sell my failing bar, forget my dad’s an alcoholic, and move away from this place, Millie Byers blows into my bar like a damn tornado. This uptight chick who meddles where she sure as heck is not wanted, riles me like no other. We fight like cats and dogs, but there’s no denying our chemistry.
She rode into my life like a devil—or an angel, the jury is still out—and flipped it upside down. And despite my best intentions of showing her the door, somehow she ends up working for me.
At this stage I’m not sure if I should fire or kiss her… maybe both.
Either way, this woman is going to be the death of me.

What's wrong with a little white lie? When you're in the business Cage Murdock is,
sharing your career isn't something you do right away.
Buuuut it's probably something you should do before you marry someone!
CODE NAME: ROOK
How does he explain this??

Excerpt from Code Name: Rook

It’s been more than twenty-four hours now since we tied the knot. Still, I don’t have a single fucking regret about it. I thought that might come at some point, but, so far, I’m glad we did it. Someone could argue with me until they were blue in the face, but I’ll never believe for a single moment that we weren’t already destined to arrive in the state of holy matrimony at some point.

I’ve been at Jameson since seven-thirty. Jaime thinks I left early to head to the airport for the “car auction” in Georgia. Now that lie I do regret, same as the others, but there’s somewhat of a balm over it in that I had intended to tell her the truth this weekend. It’s just with me going away for several days on a mission, well, I could not drop that bomb on her and leave.

It will, however, be the first thing I do when I return at the end of the week. Or, at least, that’s hopefully when I’ll return. If the mission goes longer, I don’t know what I’ll do.

After a long workout, a quick shower, and a quicker breakfast, which was downing a protein shake, I head down to the second floor. We’ll have a logistical meeting in a few hours with the team that will be joining me in Colombia. It will be Malik, Jackson, and one of the other agents who is fairly new here, Ladd McDermott. We’ll also have the backing of the Colombian army as well.

Out of the corner of my eye, I spy Anna coming out of her office.

“Anna, Anna, Anna,” I call out to get her attention, weaving my way through desks over to her.

“Hey,” she exclaims, a bright smile on her face that says she’s happy to see me.

I look around the second floor, noting most agents are at their desks with heads bowed over laptops, then grab Anna by the elbow to lead her back into her office.

“Hey,” she grumbles, trying to pull away.

I hold her firmly. “Sorry. But I really need to talk. It’s an emergency.”

Once in her office, I release her arm and pull the door shut behind us. Because I’m vibrating a bit with nervous energy, I start pacing back and forth. Her office is so small that I only get two steps before I have to turn around again.

“What’s wrong?” Anna demands.

I jerk from her words, my head snapping her way. She’s not going to like what I’m about to tell her. My gaze moves to the door. Maybe I should just leave.

“Cage,” she snaps, and I can tell she’s lost her patience. “Tell me what it is, and I’ll help you fix it.”

The expression on her face is pinched and worried. I bet she thinks I robbed a bank or something. Better disabuse her of that. “I got married.”

“You what?” she exclaims.

“I got married,” I repeat, a little softer as I drop into a chair.

“Got married,” she says slowly as if she doesn’t quite believe she’s heard me straight. “To whom?”

I roll my eyes. “To Jaime.”

Anna crosses her arms, one eyebrow cocked. “You told her the truth about what you do, right?”

Christ, every time I’m reminded of my lies, it’s like a knife twisting in my chest. I shake my head in response.

“What in the hell were you thinking?” she screeches.

I jump in my seat, hoping never to hear that sound from her again.

She lowers her voice to almost a hushed whisper, bending to get in my face. “You cannot marry a woman unless you are in love with her, and she knows the absolute truth about what you do for a living.”

My grin is lopsided, half well-intentioned, half wry. “Well… I got half right.”

 MORE ABOUT CODE NAME: ROOK

Being a highly skilled operative for a company like Jameson Force Security is exhilarating and important work…until it comes time to date. I like to keep my profession under wraps for a number of reasons. Some of what we do is top secret, most of what we do is dangerous, and more than one woman has tried to latch onto me because she was more enamored with what I do than who Cage Murdock really is. And since I’m more of a ‘here for the night’ than a ‘here for forever’ kind of guy, what’s the harm in a little white lie about my job?

My harmless deceit has never failed me. Until now. Because I met the most amazing woman and did the unthinkable. I married her. And now my beautiful, unsuspecting, probably-going-to-leave-my-sorry-behind-when-she-finds-out-the-truth wife doesn’t know that I’m not a used car salesman like I told her when we met.

As it typically does with lies, the truth is about to come out in a big way when Jaime unwittingly gets herself mixed up with some unsavory characters and I, along with the team at Jameson, have to intervene. Now I need to save my girl and hope I can save my marriage too. Let’s just say I have some serious explaining to do.

Sophia knew she was Falling for Trouble
What happens with her and Abe who have been friends since forever
share an intense night together?

Excerpt from Falling for Trouble

That first touch of her lips against his was like pouring gasoline on a fire. Sparks shot from her mouth, all the way through her body, and settled in her clit. It was intense and potent, and they hadn’t even moved yet. Abe took the lead, moving his lips on hers, slow and easy. He pushed himself up farther, cupped the other side of her face, tilting her head at the same time, and finally deepened the kiss.

His tongue slipped into her mouth, stroking the very tip of hers. He moaned when she reciprocated. The taste of him was tangy from the whiskey and sweet from the beer. His hands moved from her face to grip her shoulders, pulling her roughly to him so their chests pressed against each other.

“Straddle me, baby.” Abe’s voice was gruff with need. Sophia pulled away, because she knew this wasn’t a good idea. He no longer seemed drunk, but did he really know what the hell they were doing?

“Abe—”

“Straddle me, baby.” His tone brooked no argument. He moved so his back rested against the headboard. Swallowing the very thick lump in her throat, she found her eyes traveling down his chest and stopping on the very large bulge pressed against his jeans. Even in the darkened room, she could see how it strained against his fly, demanding to be free. The junction between her thighs became wet, and she felt her nipples bead.

“Come on, baby, I want to feel you on top of me.” Before she could stop this from going any further, Abe’s hands were on her waist, and he was hauling her on top of him. His mouth slanted on hers and he took her with a searing force. The groan that spilled from him was loud, and she greedily swallowed it. With her legs spread wide over his, her pussy was in direct contact with his raging hard-on.

A gush of arousal left her, and she felt her panties dampen further. Sophia shifted and gasped as the movement caused Abe’s erection to rub against her clit. His zipper caused a flash of discomfort to meld with the pleasure.

“Fuck, baby.” He dragged his lips across her jaw and licked and nipped at her. Her head fell back, and her breath left her. She gripped his wide shoulders and curved her nails into him. A hiss escaped his mouth, but his erection grew impossibly harder beneath her.

“This is a very bad idea, Abe.” Even she could hear that she didn’t mean she wanted him to stop.

“No, baby, I think this is the best idea we’ve had in a long time.”

MORE ABOUT FALLING FOR TROUBLE

She loved him, but they could never be more than friends.

Sophia Kidd and Abe Rochester had been best friends since they were children. With both of their pasts scarred, the only people they could rely on were each other. And so an unbreakable bond was formed, one that tied their lives together, but never in the way she wanted.

Known as “Trouble” in town, Abe wasn’t the guy a girl brought home to meet her parents. He indulged in all the bad things life offered.

But she loved him.

She was in love with him. And the heart wanted what the heart couldn’t have. And so she kept things strictly on the friend level.

But when  a night of partying and tossing back drinks had the world blurring together, she found herself in Abe’s bed.

What should have been an explosive morning after, both of them finally expressing their feelings for the other, turned out to be a nightmare.

Abe had no recollection of the night they just shared.

Humiliation was just the tip of the iceberg, and it didn’t matter how fast or far she ran; Sophia couldn’t escape fate.

And what fate gave her was Abe’s baby.

How could things work out when Abe didn't even remember sleeping with her?

It makes sense that a sports radio host has the rule of not dating any of the players,
especially at the height of her career.

So why does she spend $25,000 at an auction for one night with the most annoying player she's ever met?
Great question! Get your copy to see just how this goes...

Excerpt from Only One Chance

I try not to groan as I walk away from him to the tables. I go through the prizes—a signed puck, a signed jersey, a game in the press box, and four tickets to the All-Star game—and I bid on the All-Star game package, thinking that I could give it away on the air. I’m about to turn around when I bump into a hard chest. Male hands automatically grab my upper arms. “Careful, gorgeous.” I hear his voice and groan, then move my shoulders out of his touch. “What did you bid on?” he asks, walking to the table and going through the sheets. “Oh, look at this.” He picks up a sheet and flashes it my way. “A weekend away in a hidden cabin.” He winks at me. “What do you say? You, me?”

“How secluded is it?” I ask him, and he looks down at the paper. “Like, is there a chance they will find your dead body?” I laugh, and he just shakes his head. He’s about to say something else when I see a blonde walk our way. Her hips swing, and her tits bounce. “Incoming.” I motion with my head in the direction she’s coming from. It’s his turn now to groan. “Don’t lie, you love all this attention,” I say, and I’m about to walk away when the blonde steps in front of me.

“Miller.” She sings his name, walking to him and getting chest to chest with him. “I am so excited about the auction.” I roll my eyes and turn to walk away, but not before hearing her beg him to take her home tonight.

I put my empty glass on a tray and grab another one when I hear Nico's voice fill the arena. “Testing one, two.” I look up and see that a spotlight is on him now. “Testing one, two.”

The chattering stops, and the room goes quiet. “If I can get everyone’s attention.” I look around now and spot Ralph and Candace sitting down at a table in front. I make my way through the crowd and find an empty chair beside Candace. I sit down and look over to see that Manning is sitting next to me, and his wife just glares at me. I smile at her and wave, but she turns her head, and I see Manning roll his lips. “Please help me welcome our captain Manning Stevenson.” The applause starts, and he gets up, and so does his wife, kissing him on the lips as though he won an award or something. He walks up the stairs while he wipes off his lips, and I giggle, which earns me another glare from his wife.

“How drunk are you?” Candace says, leaning into me.

“Not drunk enough,” I say, taking another glass of champagne. “Cheers.” I hold up my glass, and she grabs her own, and we click glasses quietly. I listen half-heartedly to Manning’s speech about why we are here, and my curiosity has me looking around the room to see who else is here that I haven’t seen.

I spot the owner of the station sitting at a table with a couple of the players and their wives. I look around and spot Miller standing with five other men on the side. Our eyes meet again, and this time, he winks. I roll my eyes and look away. What in the hell is wrong with you? This is the second time he’s caught you looking at him. And why are you looking at him? It must be the suit or the champagne. “I think this champagne is not good,” I whisper to Candace, who looks at me and smiles. “Can champagne go bad? Like, can it poison you?”

“No.” She takes a swallow from her glass. “Tastes fine to me.” She puts it down, and a waiter comes over and grabs the two empty glasses and puts two more on the table.

“Am I going to have to carry you into the house?” Ralph asks Candace.

I lean over Candace to whisper to Ralph. “Don’t pretend you don’t like drunk sex.”

“I like drunk sex,” Candace says, not in a whisper, making Ralph just shake his head. I sit up now, looking at the stage as they bring the bachelors on stage. They introduce a couple of the rookies, and then they save Miller for last.

“And it is my greatest pleasure,” Manning says with a smile. “Introducing my assistant captain, or what I like to call him, Mr. GQ,” he says. The applause starts, and a couple of whistles are blown as he walks onto the stage and shakes Manning’s hand and then looks out into the crowd.

“He’s so gross,” I say under my breath, and Candace laughs at me. The bidding starts with the rookie first. The highest bidder is five thousand dollars. The second one goes for the same price, and the third one goes for just a touch more. They all stay under five thousand dollars.

“Now,” Nico says, “it’s time for the last bachelor of the night.” The girls all cheer, and I look over at Candace, who laughs. “We are going to start the bidding off at—”

“Fifty cents.” I hold up my hand, and everyone laughs, even Miller.

“One thousand dollars,” one of the women on the side says, and Candace looks at me.

“Not worth it,” I say, drinking another sip. “So not worth it.” I look into the glass.

“Twelve hundred!” another woman shouts, and I look over at the woman who sits there with a huge smile on her face.

“Fifteen hundred,” another one says.

“Seventeen!” one woman shouts from the back.

“Ohh, this might be a hot ticket item,” Nico says, laughing. Miller just looks down and shakes his head.

“Two thousand,” the first one comes back with.

“Do I have twenty-one hundred?” Nico asks.

Now the girl who sang his name before shouts out, “Five thousand dollars!” The crowd gasps, and Miller just looks at her.

“Ten thousand dollars,” Nico says, pointing at the one who just shout out the highest bid, “Going once, going twice.”

“Twenty-five thousand dollars!” I shout. The words come out of my mouth before I can stop them, shocking everyone, especially me.

MORE ABOUT ONLY ONE CHANCE

Miller

They called me the pretty boy on and off the ice. Hockey’s most eligible bachelor.

When my teammate asked me to donate one date to his charity, I figured why not. Worst case, I’d spend the night with a fan. Best-case scenario, she would be hot. What I wasn’t expecting was for my dream girl to be the highest bidder.

For years, she brushed me off, and now, I finally had a chance to take her out and show her who I really was.

With only one shot at this, I really hoped I didn’t mess it up.

Layla

At the top of my career, I was riding the wave of my sports talk show having the best rating on the radio.

I also made it a rule to never date any sports players.

It was my one rule, and I was sticking to it until I bid on the only man who gets under my skin.

All it takes is one touch, one night, one kiss, and only one chance.

Dree raised her shot glass high above her head to toast the gilded Buddha towering over the nightclub.
She shoved all the air from her lungs through her throat and screamed with her whole body at the people yammering over the techno music and each other, “I’m gonna fuck every man in this bar tonight!”

Yes, you definitely want to get this book!

The little blonde said, “And if I have to fuck every guy in this place to change my life, I will!”

She was drunk-adamant and sounded desperate, so he needed to drunk-argue with her until she came around. “You want to get laid at any cost, and yet you’re walking away from a man who wants to take you home tonight.”

“Where?” she demanded, throwing her arms to the sides and nearly stumbling again in her vehemence.

“Right here.” Max wasn’t sure how much longer he could keep this up. “Me, right here.”

“Nuh-uh,” she said, her head hanging and wagging. “You’re a ten, and I’m a six when I have on wedding make-up and it’s a good hair day. And I don’t have any of that. I used a Sharpie marker for mascara.”

Her eyes were misty, as drunk with desire as she was with tequila. “Seriously? A guy like you, and me?”

His whole body was responding to her, and the impulse to fight a man and then take her vibrated in him. His voice had dropped lower when he rumbled, “Let me take you home.”

“And you’re going to fuck me?” she demanded, her voice low like she was exacting a promise from him.

Odd, he’d always thought of Americans as rather Puritanical when talking about sex.

Yet, the woman seemed to want an assurance, so he leaned over and whispered near her ear, his breath puffing her gossamer hair, “Yes, I’m going to fuck you until you scream and can’t move with exhaustion.”

She paused, but then turned away. “No, you won’t.”

He tugged her hand back and caught her in his arms. “I will fuck you in ways you haven’t dreamed of. I’ll be your sure thing for the night if you will just get in the damn car.”

MORE ABOUT ROGUE

Maxence’s brother was trying to kidnap or kill him, and an organized crime thug wanted to cut off Max’s head and feed it to the sharks for entirely different reasons.

So, when a cute little blonde stood up on a barstool in the middle of the Buddha Bar in Paris and drew the attention of the wrong sort of guys, Maxence swooped in for the rescue. Everything about her appealed to him: her sweetness, her giggliness, and especially the fact that she was in trouble.

That last part made her sugar and catnip to Max.
Luckily, he only had five days before he left Paris and Europe for wherever his global charity job was going to send him this time.
Why not spend it with the funny blonde who insisted he lie to her?
Indeed, if she thought everything he said was a lie, he could confess his sins, unburden his soul, and reveal what he thought he never could.
Five days with her sounded like Heaven, if he could just convince her to stop throwing him out of her hotel room.
          ***
My life has become a sad country music song, but instead of heading south, I went to Paris.
I was a good girl who had nothing left to lose, literally. My boyfriend had stolen everything.
Everything except a non-refundable plane ticket to Paris, which was supposed to be the trip of a lifetime where that deadbeat was going to propose at the top of the Eiffel Tower.
So, I got on the plane without him.

After all that, it was understandable that when I started drinking at the Buddha Bar, things got a little out of hand.
Luckily, a man intervened. He was so ripped that I could see every thick muscle of his abs, obliques, chest, and arms through the tight tee shirt he was wearing. He towered over the guys who were bothering me, and they backed off.
I took him back to my hotel because I was full of drunken, bad decisions that night.
The last thing I needed was a man who wanted to save me when I was trying to do all the wrong things.

SILVER BIKER
There's so much to figure out!

Excerpt from Silver Biker

“Ranger.” The call of my biker name forces me to look up. “I think this one’s for you.”

Justice is the president of our non-official club, and he’s also become a true friend. His silver-topped head tips toward the front of the bar, and I squint. The brightness of blond hair from yards away beckons like a beacon across a lake, but I can’t make out the rest of her. She hesitantly stands before the front door, as though she isn’t certain she should be here. Perhaps she’s wondering how she got here.

Join the club, sister.

Then again, don’t. Whoever she is, from this distance, I can tell she doesn’t have a stitch of biker babe in her. Something just doesn’t feel right about her and tells me I’m correct in my assessment.

“Nope. Not my type,” I say to my friend, turning my gaze back to him and then offering a kiss to the jaw of the woman on my lap. Justice snorts and shakes his head slowly side to side. His arms cross over his solid body. He’s been acting all kinds of weird over the past few months. I’d tease him it’s old age, but I know the real source of his content. He’s getting his dick dipped on the regular to one woman, in particular, and it’s mellowing him. He’s in love.

I shiver with the thought. I’d been there once—only once—then I lost it all.

Maybe the chick by the door is lost. It happens on occasion. Someone’s driving toward Blue Ridge, up here in the Smoky Mountains of Georgia, and gets turned around because of a lack of GPS. She hasn’t quite made it to town and doesn’t realize she’s only fifteen minutes outside of it.

Keep going, honey, I want to holler. You’ll get wherever you’re going soon enough.

Blue Ridge is my hometown. Born and bred here, I knew I’d spend my entire life near this place. After what happened, I’ll never leave. Never.

“Wouldn’t be so sure about that,” Justice interjects, responding to my statement about type and pulling me back to the present with a deep chuckle. The lost woman finally walks to the edge of the bar and pauses at the structure. It spans the length of one wall. The rest of the room has tables scattered here and there. I’m sitting near the pool tables toward the back of the place. I’d just won a game, and somehow, the woman on my lap is my prize.

I’m not getting laid, but I’ll be getting long overdue head.

“What do you know?” I snap at my leader although it comes out more a slur. I’m feeling good, really relaxed. I’d like to think the ease will allow me to stick my dick in someone random, but I know it won’t. This bird on my lap could sing pretty, smell sweet, and tease me in all the right ways, and I still won’t be going where I can’t bring myself to go.

It isn’t that I can’t get it up. It’s that I don’t think I deserve to sample the pleasure.

“Ranger, you’re asking for trouble.” The tone of Justice’s voice raises the hackles on the back of my neck. With my hair shorn short to my scalp, highlighting the hints of silver I’ve become speckled with, it doesn’t take much for those fine locks to prickle. His voice has me on edge.

“Trouble is my middle name.” I snort.

“Peach is your middle name,” a sweet Georgian voice purrs, and I choke on air. Justice steps aside to offer me a better view of the woman speaking.

What the fuck?

“You’re a peach,” I retort, squinting at the figure who has moved closer to my perch without me noticing her. The comeback is intended to be flippant and flirty, but my tongue swells the second I’ve said it. The air around me stills. The woman on my lap feels like the weight of the mountains. I only have eyes for the woman standing two feet away from me.

Can this day get any worse?

With blond hair bright as lemonade, sapphire blue eyes, and a body like an hourglass, I can’t believe I didn’t recognize her at first. However, I am drunk. Or I was. I’m sobering up real fast. My leg begins to bounce, making the woman on my lap jiggle, and she lets loose a vibrating giggle, drawing awkward attention to herself. She sounds like a child on a kiddie ride, only I’m not offering free trips on the James Express.

“Peach,” I whisper, not certain the nickname leaves my lips. Continuing to stare at the woman watching me, I can’t believe she’s standing before me. Is she real? She’s still so fucking beautiful. The glare in her eyes assures me she’s very real, and she’s staring daggers at the woman sitting on my thighs.

In a show of possessiveness and bitchiness to the max, the biker babe kisses my jaw, licking along the hard edge and scraping her tongue against the silvery stubble. Her eyes remain on the peach before me.

Fuck.

“James.” The blond bombshell speaks. I’d recognize her voice anywhere. I hear it nightly in my dreams, reaching out for it to drown out the other noises that haunt me.

The screams. The scraping. The silence afterward.

“Evelyn.” Her name is sharper on my tongue than I intend. I’m pissed she didn’t call this year. She owes me every May. She promised.

“You gonna join us tonight, honey?” The biddy on my lap teases the female before me who looks ready to stake me on a skewer and roast me over a fire.

Good, let her be angry. Let her be anything other than emotionless.

It was all your fault, my conscience reminds me.

I sit taller in my seat, shifting the woman on my thighs who has a firm grip on my neck at this point.

“No, I don’t think I’ll be joining you this evening.” Evelyn’s sharp tone displays how unimpressed she is with this situation. Once upon a time, she was impressed with me, though. She thought I was the shit, and she was my sweet peach.

James and his Giant Peach. My mother loved the irony of it.

“Evie,” I hiss. Her nickname falls on deaf ears as the beauty gives me her back and walks away. My eyes follow the retreat of her firm ass—still tight—in skinny jeans. My mouth waters and my insides stir in a way they haven’t for years. Justice steps back with a broad step at her retreat. He stood beside her, ever the protector of the underdog, although I’m not certain who’s the underdog in this scenario—her or me.

As she walks away, the soles of her shoes clack on the tile like the ticking of a stopwatch, and I release the air in my lungs in relief. Or is it frustration? Maybe it’s fear.

“Who was that?” Trixie-Trudy-Tabby asks, her voice incredulous at the sway of hips walking away from me once again.

I answer on an exhale.

“My wife.”

MORE ABOUT SILVER BIKER

James Harrington.

That’s my name, my birthright, and my curse. I didn’t always hate being a Harrington. At one time, I took it as a privilege. I used it to my advantage. But a name doesn’t stop you from losing everything, and after six haunting years, that everything is back forcing me to face the past or give up a future.

Evie Harrington.

I bet you didn’t know about me because James doesn’t talk about me. Or to me. We had it all and I was never happier. My family was my entire world, but that world shattered. When faced with the unimaginable, is there a way to put the pieces back together? After six painful years, it’s time to accept our history and move forward or move on from one another.

It’s the final Harrington brother, so hold onto your hearts. Silver Biker is going to be a bumpy ride.

Excerpt from She's Mine

Reese started a slow and steady rock against her, driving her lust higher, making her ache in places she didn’t even know existed.

I want more. I need it.

Keira found herself reaching between them, her hands going for the button of her jeans, popping it free. She'd never been so wild, free, and abandoned with her desire before.

She’d never done this.

Keira shifted, pushing her pants off one leg, not sure what she was doing or how far she’d go, but all the while, Reese kissed her, devoured her mouth until she was frantic for him. She found herself straddling him, the feel of his hardness causing even more wetness to spill from her. She was ready for him, and Keira knew if things went all the way, she wouldn’t try to stop it.

She was crazed at this moment, so hungry for Reese she tasted him on her tongue, smelled him in her nose, and felt him on every single inch of her body.

They tilted their heads at the same time, their tongues delving deeper until she felt like she was lost in everything that was Reese.

“You taste so good, Keira.” He trailed his lips over her jaw and down her neck to where her pulse beat frantically. He continued a slow, steady press of his hardness against her, lifting his hips at the same time she pressed down on him.

Could he feel how wet she was, her arousal soaking through the material?

His fingers slid down her hips, over her outer thighs, twisting slightly and moving back up her inner thighs. The digits rested at the edge of her panties, not moving, just rubbing back and forth along her skin, causing her inner muscles to clench.

“Touch me, Reese.”

He groaned against her neck, his body tense and his breathing ragged. “I am touching you, baby.” His words sounded distorted, his body harder than she’d ever felt before.

Her breasts ached, felt heavy, her nipples sensitive as they pressed against the material of her bra. Keira was desperate as she pressed the mounds against his chest, the peaks aching, feeling tight.

“Tell me to stop, Keira,” he said, but he moved his fingers below the edge of her panties, now almost touching the most sensitive, intimate part of her.

“I don’t want you to stop.”

MORE ABOUT SHE'S MINE

Black Mountain Academy’s bad boy. That’s who Reese Trenton was, or at least how people perceived him. He came from the “wrong side of the tracks” with a perpetual scowl on his face, a body like a god, and the arrogance to match.

He was a rough around the edges kind of delinquent, but smart enough he’d gotten a full ride to BMA.

And he piqued Keira’s interest in the worst—or maybe best—kind of way. He had her wanting to throw that good girl persona she carried right out the window. He had her wanting to be just as rebellious as he was.

He knew too much about life, got drunk, and started far too many fights. And Keira wanted him like she’d never wanted anyone before. They say opposites attract, and it seemed that was the pulling force that brought Reese and Keira together.

Heated touches. Passionate kisses. Filthy, secret intimacy. They shared it all together and grew addicted for more.

He thought he was broken, too battered for a girl like her. Keira wanted to show Reese that despite the cracks he wore, the scars he sported, they were meant to be together.

But not everyone thought Reese and Keira should be together, and as the drama and chaos erupted, as people tried to rip them apart, they realized their loyalty and love for each other had never been put to the test more than it had now.

Excerpt from Staying Warm

I stare into the bluest eyes I’ve ever seen and pray he doesn’t take me up on my suggestion to leave. Walking out of the bedroom to find this Adonis standing in my rented living room was quite a shock. My first thought was Shelly had hired one of those surprise strippers. Once he yelled at his personal assistant on the phone, I realized there was a huge mistake with the cabin lease.

I immediately regret suggesting he leave and look for a motel. His eyes narrow, and I’m waiting for his response when he holds up a hand. “My phone.” Huh? I didn't hear ringing.

He presses a button on the little headset wrapped around the back of his head and barks at whoever is on the line, “You’re fucking kidding.” He pinches the bridge of his nose and looks over at me. “Hopefully, she’s accommodating.” He winks, and my pussy begs me to welcome him to stay. “You can tell my mother whatever you damn well want.”

He presses the button again, pulls the headset off, and then drops it on the old table. “Well, I have bad news and worse news. Pick your poison.”

I place my hands on my hips and wait. “Just give it to me.”

“That was my PA. He checked with the realtor.” Mason blows out a breath. “They screwed up and booked us both for the same time.”

“Okay, that sucks. One of us will have to leave. Since I’m already unpacked, it’s only fair that I stay.” I point at my silky robe and raise an eyebrow.

“Well, I said there was worse and actually even worse still news.” He smirks. “There aren't any other accommodations for over a hundred and twenty miles.” Ouch. That’s a long way. I hate to make him drive so far tonight. While I’m debating my choices, he continues, “And the weather service just put out a weather bulletin. There’s a winter storm headed this way. The front is going to dump several feet of snow.” There are lines of strain between his eyebrows. “Neither of us would make it to another destination before it hits. We’re better off staying here and riding out the storm.” It looks like the weather has made my choice for me. There are worse things than being stuck in a secluded cabin with a hot guy. As long as he isn’t a wanted serial killer.

“Are you a mass murder or wife beater?” Darn, his marital status never even crossed my mind.

He blinks before throwing his head back and laughing. “I promise you; I’ve never killed anyone. I threaten it regularly, but I manage to resist. And I’ve never been married.” Whew. That’s a relief. Well, I hope he wouldn’t beat a woman. He leans close and runs a finger over my collarbone, causing goosebumps to break out all over my body. “I believe in protecting women. I’d kick anyone’s ass who ever laid a hand on a woman, much less the woman I love.”

I’m in love. And terrified. After walking over to the hideous lime green, vinyl sofa, I sink down and gaze at the fire.

MORE ABOUT STAYING WARM

One bed. Two Strangers. And a raging storm. There’s only one way to stay warm…

The travel brochure downright lied.

This small, isolated cabin has seen better days, and those days are long gone.

It also failed to mention other occupants.

Walking in the door, I’m shocked to find a stunning, half-dressed blonde walking out of the bedroom.

She’s as shocked to see me as I am to see her.  But we have to make the most of a bad situation. The realtor double-booked this place and there’s nowhere else to go.  A winter storm is coming, and neither of us will make it out of here before it blows through.

I’m stuck sharing a tiny cabin with an adorable firecracker who makes my heart race and other parts of me stand up and take notice—not such a bad deal, after all.

While I’m keeping her warm and safe, she’s stealing my heart.

Now, I just need to convince my little hellion our love affair doesn’t end the minute the snowplow clears the road…

“Fuck, you taste good,” he murmured, his lips and hands exploring my skin, my body, as if he couldn’t get enough of me. Which made no sense because we hated each other.
I hated him.
I hate him.
“Wait.” I broke away and he groaned, dropping his face to the crook of my shoulder. “What the hell are we doing?” My voice trembled as I tried to regain control of myself, my stupid fickle emotions.
“Cameron,” I said jabbing my fingers into his ribs when he didn’t move. “Get the hell off me.”
He stepped back, his lips curled in an annoyingly sexy smirk. “You’re not making this easy, Sunshine.” “I swear to God, if you call me that again, I’ll—” “You’ll what? Kiss me?” His smirk morphed into a smug grin.

“I swear to God, if you call me that again, I’ll—”
“You’ll what? Kiss me?” His smirk morphed into a smug grin.
“I’m leaving now,” I said roughly. “Please don’t follow me.” Because I might beg you for things I shouldn’t want. I slipped out from between him and his truck and started walking away but his hand snagged my wrist. “Cameron.” His name left my lips a gentle sigh.
“Just tell me one thing,” he said.
“What?” I gave a frustrated sigh. But it wasn’t only Cameron I was frustrated with.
“Does hating me feel as good for you as it does for me?”
“Goodbye, Cameron.” My eyes dropped to where his fingers were curled around my wrist and he released me.
“Whatever you say, Sunshine.” He had to have the last words.

Excerpt from Dare to Play

Call him intrigued. Since Jaxon had just seen Macy a short time ago, he wondered what had her reaching out to him so quickly.

He pulled into the driveaway of the modest house, a little smaller than the one he and his siblings had grown up in, and cut the engine of his Range Rover. A red sport convertible sat in the driveaway, which he doubted belonged to Macy. He’d walked her to a Jetta earlier, and she didn’t seem the type to have a sports car on the side.

Since leaving her, his heart had been racing and his anxiety high as he wondered what his future held. On the one hand, he was petrified of losing his bachelorhood and lifestyle, and he had to keep reminding himself that their arrangement wouldn’t be permanent. Besides, there was a lot to like about Macy, which calmed some of his fears. She was easy to be around, low-maintenance, and she knew going into the marriage that he’d be on the road often once the season started.
The one thing he didn’t worry about was sexual chemistry. They had it in spades. Now he just had to convince her to make their marriage a real one. He wasn’t kidding when he said he didn’t plan on being celibate. And he wasn’t a cheater, which meant they were going to have to agree on a true marriage.

He parked the SUV, climbed out, locked the door, and walked up the path leading to the front door, passing the well-kept foliage along the way. He rang the bell and waited, hands in his front jeans pockets.

Macy opened the door, looking worried, and he had the sudden urge to pull her into his arms and reassure her everything was going to be okay. “What’s going on?”

“Come in,” she said, stepping aside so he could enter the house.

He walked into the foyer with white and light pink faux texture on the walls and a pretty landscape of photographs hanging in the hall.

She stepped closer, the scent of her floral perfume a reminder of how hot she was in bed.
“Thank you for coming.” She spoke softly.

“What’s wrong?”

She drew a deep breath. “My former stepmother is upstairs, and she’s planning to take my sister, Hannah, with her to her hotel. Hannah said it’s for the night, but she’s packing as if it’s for much longer. She’s a rebellious teenager. If I forbid it, I’m going to alienate her even more. If I allow it, I risk not being able to get her back, and it doesn’t help that Lilah brought up our one-night stand and the social media attention it got.” She appeared pale and shaken.

“What’s your gut telling you?” he asked.

“That I need to see a lawyer.”

He nodded. “I agree. But in the meantime?”

She sighed. “I’m inclined to let her go. Act as reasonable as I can but insist she come home tomorrow, and give Lilah a chance to prove she’s not fit to be a mother or, better yet, let her get bored of the responsibility.”

He grasped her hands in his. “Then trust yourself. Now another question. Why did you call me?”

A wry smile pulled at her lips. “Because I need backup from my fiancé to make sure my ex-stepmother from hell understands she has to bring Hannah back tomorrow. Or else.”

His heart pounded harder in his chest. So this was a go.
